End of Life Announcement for the ADS® Slim Line Wireless Modem Antenna (P/N 3800-0162) and the ADS High-Gain LTE-M (3G/4G) Antenna – Mastic Coated (P/N 9000-0080).

Even though we will no longer supply these parts, ADS will continue to provide customer support for them as noted below:
- November 18, 2020
- March 31, 2021 or until existing supplies are exhausted
- April 30, 2021 or until existing supplies are exhausted
- All support ends except for any remaining contractual warranty support, February 28, 2022
- All documentation and references archived, February 28, 2022
Actions You Can Take Now:
The replacements for these antennae are the ADS Wireless Modem “Mini Wing” Antenna (3800-0163) for remaining 3G versions of ADS devices and the ADS Wideband Terminal Antenna for LTE-M (9000-0094 and 9000-0096) for all 4G LTE-M versions of ADS devices. These are available for immediate order and shipping via the ADS Storefront.
The Mini Wing antenna (P/N 3800-0163) is a standard consumer grade wireless antenna specifically designed for GPRS modem devices. This antenna will continue to work well with all 3G versions of ADS devices until the respective 3G networks are shut down by the wireless carries. Full shutdown of the 3G networks is planned at December 31, 2020 for Verizon and February 28, 2022 for AT&T, based on the most recent publicly available information. The Mini Wing antenna should work on 4G LTE-M devices but is not designed to take advantage of the benefits of the 4G LTE-M spectrum.
The ADS Wideband Terminal Antenna for LTE-M ( P/N 9000-0094, 12FT and 9000-0096, 3FT) antenna is high gain, 4G CAT M1 antenna designed to take advantage of the benefits of the 4G LTE-M Industrial IoT (IIoT) spectrum. It is an over-molded IP68 rated device to provide enhanced protection against water ingress and damage.
The ADS Wideband Terminal Antenna for LTE-M is the long term solution for extending the communications functionality and LTE-M benefits for all ADS 4G LTE-M devices (TRITON+™, ECHO™, and RainAlert III™)
